These prints make me so happy and working with Nikelle from @timberandcotton to bring them to life as earrings was just so fun 😄We've been loving seeing you all share your snaps wearing them out and about! Which pair has been everyone's favourite??? 🍋🌸 #printlove #statementearrings

Back in the 80s I loved Memphis style and their patterns, so it's funny that it took me so long to make my own. . #patternlove #pattern #vector #illustrator #surfacepatterndesign #memphis

You might have seen in my Insta stories that I dove right into #the100dayproject led by @elleluna and @lindsayjeanthomson 🎉 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Last year, I attempted it and it was a bit hit and miss, skipped days, then massively caught up. I was totally overwhelmed, frustrated and burnt out by the whole thing 😰 That was a big no no. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ So why am I doing it again this year? Well first off, I wasn't fully aware of it until I started seeing others post their projects at about day 12, so I was late to the party already. Then I realised I've been itching to do something creative on a regular basis –not in the sense that it has to be a slog, but in the sense that I just wanted a creative outlet. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I was a little bit nervous at first because I didn't want to feel burnt out like last time. I realised all I needed was to give myself a small enough task. I gave myself permission to not beat myself up for not meeting DEADLINES (I was already starting really late anyway!) and that each outcome didn't have to look AMAZING. As long as I was enjoying myself, and took as little or as much time as I wanted on the project each day, I knew I would be fine. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ So, I decided that a little 2-inch square would be enough space to be creative, but not so much that it felt daunting to fill it up. Some days, I've been filling in quite a few squares, some days not so much, but my goal is to reach 100 however long it takes me to do it 😊 And maybe I'll use some of them in my future designs!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I'd love for you guys to follow along and see what I come up with – check out the patterns I've come up with so far in my highlights.
